Equipping leaders, helpers, and building up fellow travelers through

speaking, training, consulting, and care.

Churches and ministry leaders often find themselves carrying situations that are complex, weighty, and difficult to name. When people are suffering deeply, clarity matters—and so does care.

Churches and ministry leaders often find themselves carrying situations that are complex, weighty, and difficult to name. When people are suffering deeply, clarity matters—and so does care.

I work with churches, leaders, and counseling professionals to think carefully through these moments, drawing from a biblical understanding of deep suffering and decades of ministry in crisis settings.

For many years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, families, and church leaders as they navigate seasons of prolonged hardship and uncertainty. My work is shaped by careful listening, faithful reflection, and a commitment to respond in ways that are both truthful and humane.

Whether through speaking, training, or counseling, my aim is to support wise, Christ-centered care that helps people move forward with courage, steadiness, and hope.

Speaking

Churches and ministry leaders often need help thinking clearly about how to respond when suffering enters their community—especially when situations are painful, complex, or contested.

I speak in church and conference settings to help leaders and congregations engage these moments with biblical clarity, pastoral wisdom, and a settled confidence in our identity in Christ. My aim is not to chase cultural language or trends, but to speak carefully and faithfully about what Scripture calls us to see, protect, and uphold.

I strive to communicate in a winsome and effective way—addressing difficult realities without sensationalism, and offering clarity without oversimplifying what people are carrying.

Counseling

In counseling, I offer a space for thoughtful reflection, honest conversation, and spiritual care for those navigating seasons of suffering, confusion, or strain.

My posture is neither passive nor coercive. I listen with sympathetic understanding and offers careful, honest feedback — always with the goal of strengthening agency and helping people grow in wisdom, stability, and faithfulness.

I frequently work with individuals navigating marital distress, relational harm, or church conflict. In some situations, I may meet with spouses separately to ensure clarity and safety, while encouraging each person toward responsibility and growth.

My approach is grounded in the CCEF model of care, and I am a member and occasional speaker with the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC).

Above all, my hope is to remind you of who you are — and Whose you are — and to grow together in the grace of Christ.

Across all of these settings, language matters.

The words we use shape how people understand what they are experiencing—especially those who have already endured much. Care that is truthful and careful helps people feel seen without being reduced to their pain or labeled in ways that obscure what is actually happening.

Good care begins with careful listening.
