Biblical Counseling with Kïrsten
Abiding in Christ, Together
A Steady Place to Begin
In counseling, I offer a space for thoughtful reflection, honest conversation, and spiritual care for those navigating seasons of suffering, confusion, or strain.
For many years, I’ve walked alongside individuals, families, and church leaders facing prolonged hardship and complex circumstances. My work is shaped by careful listening, faithful reflection, and a commitment to respond in ways that are both truthful and humane.
A Posture of Care
My hope, as a biblical counselor rooted in the Word of God, is to walk with you through this season—offering comfort, encouragement, and truth spoken in love.
My posture is neither passive nor coercive.
I listen with sympathetic understanding and offer careful, honest feedback with the goal of strengthening agency and helping people grow in wisdom, stability, and faithfulness.
Faithful care requires clarity, discernment, and growth from all.
Complex Situations, Whole Communities
I bring empathy for everyone involved—those harmed, those accused, church leaders, and care teams—recognizing that hard situations affect entire communities.
I frequently work with individuals navigating marital distress, relational harm, or church conflict. In some situations, I may meet with spouses separately to ensure clarity and safety, while encouraging each person toward responsibility and growth.
Grounded in Care
My approach is grounded in the CCEF model, and I am a member and occasional speaker with the Association of Biblical Counselors (ABC).
Whether through counseling, speaking, or training, my aim is to support wise, Christ-centered care that helps people move forward with courage, steadiness, and hope.
Above all, my desire is to remind you of who you are—and Whose you are—and to grow together in the grace of Christ.
